There’s a restaurant in Mason, Ohio where the world’s best tennis players eat between matches, and now, you can eat there too.

The restaurant at the Cincinnati Open Sporting Club is open to the public daily, offering an upscale-casual dining experience that feels refined yet accessible. Whether you’re fueling up before a match, celebrating a win after, or simply looking for a standout meal in the greater Cincinnati area, the Sporting Club is one to add to your “Must Try” list.

Elevated American cuisine with a local heart

Executive Chef Andrew Alcid brings over 20 years of hospitality experience to the kitchen, shaped by stints in Chicago, where global food culture left its mark, and Detroit, where Eastern European culinary traditions deepened his repertoire. The result is a menu that feels familiar and adventurous all at once: approachable dishes executed with real intention, and a commitment to local flavors that gives the food a sense of place.

“There’s something special about cooking in a place like this. The athletes who compete here are the best in the world at what they do, and that raises the bar for everyone on our team. We want every guest, whether they’re a professional player or someone coming in for lunch on a Tuesday, to feel like they got something extraordinary.”

The lunch and dinner menus strike a balance between crowd-pleasing comfort and thoughtful refinement. Shareables like our Hot Buttered Hummus with blistered peppers, or our almost-divine Smoked Chicken Wings with ranch, set a tone that’s social and relaxed. Hand-helds, a Smoked French Dip with caramelized onions and horseradish cream, or a Crispy Chicken Sandwich on a seeded roll, are the kind of dishes that make you want to come back.

Dinner steps things up with mains like the Smoked Rotisserie Chicken over creamy polenta, St. Louis-Style Spareribs with braised collard greens and corn bread, and a seasonal Atlantic Salmon preparation. It’s a menu that works for a quick weekday lunch just as well as it does for a proper dinner out.

A setting unlike any other restaurant in Cincinnati

The Cincinnati Open Sporting Club isn’t just any sports facility, it’s the home of the Cincinnati Open, one of the most prestigious ATP and WTA 1000 tennis tournaments in the world. The restaurant sits at the heart of that campus, surrounded by world-class courts where legends of the sport have competed (and subsequently eaten).

Guests can choose to dine in the main dining room, in the bar area, or head up to the second-level terrace for elevated views of the facility. It’s a setting that makes every meal a special one.

Open to Everyone

The Sporting Club restaurant is entirely open to the public, 7 days a week. You don’t need to be a member of the Sporting Club or Grizzly Golf Club to walk in and enjoy a meal. Reservations are recommended but not required. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability, and parties of seven or more can book by emailing restaurant@cincyopensportingclub.com.
